• Trade business directory listings and search functionality

• Business profile creation and management tools
• Reviews, ratings, and feedback systems
• Advertising and promotional services
• Subscription-based premium listing plans

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time with or without notice.

Eligibility & Registration

To register for an account on the Platform, you must be:

• At least 18 years of age;
• A natural person, company, or legally recognised entity;
• Legally permitted to enter into a binding contract under Australian law.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Listings & Content

By submitting a listing, review, image, or any other content ("User Content") to the Platform, you:

• Warrant that you own or have the right to use the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights;
• Grant TradesBiz a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform;
• Agree that content must be accurate, truthful, and not misleading.

TradesBiz reserves the right to remove or edit any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

User Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content;
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users;
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including the Australian Consumer Law;
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise collect data from the Platform without our written consent;
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or access controls;
• Post spam, unsolicited communications, or pyramid scheme promotions.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property on the Platform — including the TradesBiz name, logo, software, design, text, graphics, and compilations — is owned by or licensed to TradesBiz.com.au and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Liability & Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• TradesBiz does not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components;
• We are not a party to any agreement between a Tradesperson and a consumer and accept no liability for services provided or work undertaken;
• Tradespeople listed are independent businesses — TradesBiz does not verify licences, qualifications, or insurance unless expressly stated.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to TradesBiz in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TradesBiz, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform;
• Your User Content;
• Your breach of these Terms; or
• Any services or transactions between you and another user.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, without liability. Grounds for termination include (but are not limited to) breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@tradesbiz.com.au. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees unless required by law.

Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Statement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Privacy Statement.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for the resolution of any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
